When accessed via the web through the Oracle Workspace, reports can be easily changed by end-users to show previous months, different business-units and/or regions. Accounts can be made "drillable" during development allowing end-users to drill down on accounts to the lowest level stored in the database.
Additionally, because the calculations are done on the back-end in either Essbase and/or Hyperion Financial Management, there's no need to go back and change reports when your calculations change and/or you add new accounts. The reports automatically detect and add new accounts and display changes to calculations that you make.
