At Percentix it is our first and primary goal to always serve our clients by delivering world-class results. To that end, we developed the SERVE© Methodology to incorporate the lessons learned and best-practices that our clients and staff can use to effectively and efficiently achieve their goals.
At the heart of the SERVE© Methodology is the Detailed Deliverable Specification ("DDS"). DDS's capture all elements of Scope, Effort, Resources, Value and Expectations by documenting the deliverables at both a strategic and tactical level for reference, documentation and incorporation into project plans both during and after the engagement. Scope - Accurately scoping the work and deliverables for an engagement is more art than science. Our experienced team has collectively scoped hundreds of EPM engagements over their careers both as clients and consultants, giving you a complete picture of the engagement, before it starts.
Effort - Timelines to deliver successful EPM engagements are never open-ended. Organizations need to have tangible value delivered on time to leverage the improvements in process and technology that the engagement is undertaken to achieve. The SERVE© Methodology helps Percentix and our clients to accurately gauge the level of effort needed.
Resources - Both internal and external resources have key roles in delivering results. In most engagements, internal resources have to continue with their primary job responsibilities in addition to their role in delivering a successful implementation. Knowing who is required, for how long, allows resources to plan accordingly.
Value - Each deliverable in the scope of work has a value determined by the level of effort and resource required to complete it. In addition to the engagement budget, the strategic value such as ROI on technology and consulting needs to be tracked and adjustments made so both tactical and strategic budget objectives are met.
Expectations - Expectations must be continuously set and reset throughout engagement so that surprises, when they occur, are positive ones. Knowing the scope, effort, resources and value sets everyone's strategic and tactical expectations.
